Terms of Use
Effective 24 September 2026
In short
•
Paraspar is for people looking to marry: 21 or older for men, 18 or older for women.
•
Be honest on your profile, and use recent photos of yourself.
•
No dowry, no asking for money and no harassment. We remove anyone who does.
•
Your contact details open only when both sides accept an interest.
•
You can delete your account at any time. Complaints go to our Grievance Officer.
These terms are the agreement between you and Apoorv Singhai, trading as Paraspar for using Paraspar. By creating an account you accept them, together with our Privacy Policy and Community guidelines. If you do not agree, please do not use Paraspar.
Who may join
•
You must be able to marry under Indian law: at least 21 if you are a man and at least 18 if you are a woman.
•
You must be unmarried, divorced, widowed or have had a marriage annulled. If your divorce is still in progress, you must say so on your profile.
•
You must not be barred by law from using Paraspar, and must not have had an account removed by us before.
•
One person, one profile. A parent, sibling, relative or friend may create and manage a profile for someone, but only with that person’s knowledge and consent, and they accept these terms on that person’s behalf.
Matrimony only
Paraspar is for finding a life partner. It may not be used for casual dating, advertising, recruiting, collecting members’ details, or by a marriage bureau or agency, unless we have agreed to that in writing.
Your account and profile
•
One account per person, on a mobile number that belongs to you or to the family member managing your profile.
•
Never share a sign-in code with anyone. Paraspar will never ask you for one. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
•
Everything on your profile must be true and kept up to date, including age, marital status, sect and community.
•
Photos must be recent photos of the person the profile is about.
What you must not post or do
In line with India’s Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, you must not post, share or send anything that:
•
belongs to someone else and you have no right to share, including other people’s photos;
•
is obscene, pornographic or paedophilic, or invades another person’s privacy, including bodily privacy;
•
insults or harasses anyone on the basis of gender;
•
is defamatory or racially or ethnically objectionable, or promotes enmity between groups, including on grounds of religion, sect, community or caste;
•
relates to or encourages money laundering or gambling;
•
infringes a patent, trademark, copyright or other proprietary right;
•
misleads anyone about where a message came from, or knowingly spreads false or misleading information;
•
impersonates another person;
•
threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, its friendly relations with other countries, or public order, or incites an offence;
•
contains a virus or any code meant to damage or interfere with a computer or service;
•
is patently false and written to mislead or harass for financial gain or to cause harm;
•
breaks any law in force.
On Paraspar in particular, you must not:
•
ask for or offer dowry in any form, which is illegal under the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961;
•
ask any member for money, gifts or financial help, for any reason;
•
share another member’s contact details, photos or messages outside Paraspar without their permission;
•
try to get round the rule that contact details open only once both sides accept;
•
keep contacting someone who has declined your interest or blocked you, including from another account.
Review, moderation and appeals
•
We review profiles and photos before they go live, usually within a few hours, and review key details again when they change.
•
We aim to look at every report within 24 hours, and we remove content that breaks these terms within 72 hours of learning about it.
•
Content showing someone’s private body or intimate acts, or impersonating them, is removed within 24 hours of a complaint, as the IT Rules require.
•
We may warn you, hide content, suspend your profile or close your account if you break these terms. Where we can, we tell you why.
•
If you think we got it wrong, appeal to our Grievance Officer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you can appeal to the Grievance Appellate Committee set up by the Government of India.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. You allow us to store it, show it to members as your settings allow, put it on biodata you create and review it, only in order to run Paraspar. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from copies in backups, which are overwritten within 30 days.
What we check, and what we do not
•
A verified badge means we checked that one thing, such as a mobile number or an identity document. We do not run background checks, and we cannot confirm everything members say about themselves.
•
Please take the usual care before marriage: speak with the family, meet in a public place, and confirm the facts that matter to you. Our Safety tips can help.
•
We are not a party to any relationship, engagement or marriage between members.
Payments
Paraspar is free while it is new. Any paid plan will be offered clearly in the app, with its price and what it includes, before you can buy it.
Purchases in the iPhone and Android apps go through the App Store or Google Play and follow their payment and refund rules.
Closing your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings, or, before you finish signing up, from the menu at the top of the sign-up screens. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
We may close an account that breaks these terms, or that the law requires us to close.
Our responsibility to you
•
We provide Paraspar as it is and as available. We work hard to keep it running and safe, but cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors.
•
We are not responsible for how members behave, on or off Paraspar, or for loss that results from it, except where the law does not allow us to exclude that responsibility.
•
Where we are responsible, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹1,000 if you paid nothing.
•
You agree to cover our reasonable costs if a claim is brought against us because you broke these terms or the law.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts in Vidisha have jurisdiction. Please contact our Grievance Officer first: most problems are solved quickly that way.
Changes to these terms
When we change these terms, the version and date at the top change too. If a change matters to how you use Paraspar, we ask you to accept it in the app before it applies to you.
